Nightfall by Jake Halpern and Peter-Kujawinski

Authors: Jake Halpern and Peter-Kujawinski
Publisher: G.P. Putnam's Sons Books for Young Readers
Pub. Date: September 22, 2015
Format: Hardcover

On Marin’s island, sunrise doesn’t come every twenty-four hours—it comes every twenty-eight years. Now the sun is just a sliver of light on the horizon. The weather is turning cold and the shadows are growing long.

Because sunset triggers the tide to roll out hundreds of miles, the islanders are frantically preparing to sail south, where they will wait out the long Night.

Marin and her twin brother, Kana, help their anxious parents ready the house for departure. Locks must be taken off doors. Furniture must be arranged. Tables must be set. The rituals are puzzling—bizarre, even—but none of the adults in town will discuss why it has to be done this way.

Just as the ships are about to sail, a teenage boy goes missing—the twins’ friend Line. Marin and  Kana are the only ones who know the truth about where Line’s gone, and the only way to rescue him is by doing it themselves. But Night is falling. Their island is changing.

And it may already be too late.

Hello again, book lovers. It has been a while. I apologize for my disappearance. I have been so caught up in theater, studying, and catching up on reading that I have not been able to sit down and write reviews. November has just been a very busy month and thankfully I can now return to I Bought a Book.

In my Top Five Spooky Books list, I mentioned that I would be reviewing the new book Nightfall. Now that I have had time to read and enjoy it, I can now officially share my thoughts. Nightfall is definitely something. I really liked it, but I didn't love it. I am not sure if I would re-read it for pleasure, but it definitely had me on the edge of my seat.

Basically, there is this island that has some number of years of daytime and then night time. Hence the name; Nightfall. Marin, the main protagonist, is preparing to leave the island as the sun slowly begins to descend. There is a bunch of traditions (more like rules) they are supposed to follow such as putting certain furniture in the corner or leaving the door open. Line, Marins best friend is helping his brother get prepared as well. (He now takes care of his brother cuz they lost their parents) They are told that they won't return for fourteen years cuz.. traditions. It's odd to me.

As the Nightfall slowly arrives, we are introduced to Kana, Marins brother. He tells about the night terrors that involve warnings about THEM and how he needs to leave the island immediately. It is said that if you are left behind on the island, you perish and all that jazz. Well, of course Line, Kana, and Marin are accidentally left behind and must survive while searching for way home.

I will admit that this book had my heart beating and made me feel pretty scared. Throughout the book, these three teenagers are being hunted by "THEM" (The creatures who originally lived on the island) I do regret reading Nightfall at two in the morning though.

The suspense in this book was great, but the "plot-twists" were kind of predictable and boring. The ending was a little... dull to be honest. Of course they all return home, but it was odd how the reader never discovers who THEY are. I don't even know what "they" are! They're just voices in the night and apparently are described to have claws? I just kind of imagined this guy from Monsters Inc. the whole time.
So, they didn't really freak me out. I was more afraid of the hunting and the things they found throughout the book. Nightfall kind of reminded me of Slender-Man.

I don't hate the book, but I don't love it. However, I really do recommend this! If you like suspense and quick, easy reads, then check out Nightfall. I enjoyed it and maybe you will too! You can purchase Nightfall at Amazon and Barnes and Nobles!  Hope you are all having a wonderful November and again, I apologize for the lack of book reviews. You can check out I Bought a Book's Facebook page for updates here! Happy Reading!

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Author: Leigh Bardugo
Publisher: Henry Holt and Co.
Pub. Date:  September 29, 2015
Format: Hardcover
Source: Purchased
You can purchase this book at:

Amazon and Barnes and Noble

Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price--and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can't pull it off alone...

A convict with a thirst for revenge.

A sharpshooter who can't walk away from a wager.

A runaway with a privileged past.

A spy known as the Wraith.

A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums.

A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.

Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Kaz's crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction―if they don't kill each other first.

This book. Gah. Six of Crows is honestly my new favorite book. It is written so beautifully and it's such a brilliant concept! I have heard many things about Leigh Bardugo's writing and may I say, I was NOT disappointed. This book is packed with humor, action, bad-ass fighting scenes, and awesome characters.

I will admit that I have not read the Grisha Trilogy yet. I understand that it  Six of Crows is partially connected to the Grish Trilogy, but just haven't gotten to it. For those of you who have not read the Grisha Trilogy or Six of Crows, I was kind of confused at the beginning of the book. I eventually caught on to what was happening in the second chapter.

So, I have never really read a Heist novel before. Maybe I have, but I've never been interested in them. Well, that all changed once I ordered Six of Crows. I was so excited when I heard that this book was being released. It looked so intriguing and the cover... GAH ITS JUST SO AMAZING.

In Six of Crows, we follow six outcasts; Kaz, Jesper, Nina, Inej,  Wylan, and Matthias. They are all assigned a mission to break someone out of prison. Apparently he is very important, so they are all offered a large reward in exchange for this man's freedom. I'm summarizing it a lot, but when you read the book it will all make sense. Their mission has a purpose, but if I explain that purpose a lot of things will be spoiled. ANYWAYS, I loved the writing style of the book because every character got to share their point of view.

Throughout the book, I got to understand where each character comes from and what their thoughts are. I really loved when the story dived into the characters backstory and their history with each other. Okay, I never mark book pages, but this book had such thought provoking or humorous quotes that I just had to.

The way the characters interacted with each other made me feel like I was inside the book. Six of Crows really pulls the reader in and the descriptions in this book were fantastic. This review probably doesn't give the book any justice.

My favorite character would have to be the main protagonist, Kaz. I love his character so much because he's so mysterious. The other characters always expressed how they don't understand why Kaz is... Kaz. His backstory made my heart break and I found myself wanting to know more about him. I also enjoyed his wit and how he could be such a stubborn jerk sometimes.

There were a lot of moments in Six of Crows that made my heart stop. The fighting scenes were described so well that I thought I was in the middle of them.  I don't know if Six of Crows is a series or just a stand alone. I'm kind of iffy about a series, but I'm also iffy about a stand alone.

I HIGHLY recommend this to any reader. It's absolutely amazing. The charcters are amazing, the cover is breathtaking, and the plot is captivating. After reading Six of Crows, I will definitely be reading the Grisha Trilogy. What did you think of this book? Tell me down below! I hope you all had a spooky Halloween and Happy Reading!

Top Five Spooky Books

Hello, Book Lovelies! It is so nice to actually have a functioning computer again! Again, I am very sorry for disappearing, but I Bought a Book has returned!!Since Halloween is just around the corner, I will be listing my Top Five Spooky Books.Even though I'm a wimp and I get scared easily, scary books are actually pretty entertaining. However, I hate horror movies or horrifying books. I have not read one book written by Stephen King or watched a horror movie. I don't think I would leave my house if I did. Anyways, I am so excited that more suspenseful books are being published this Fall! I will probably buy all of them because I have a problem with buying books.

5.) Beautiful Creatures

Author: Kami Garcie and Margaret Stohl
Publisher: Little, Brown Books for Young Readers
Pub. Date: September 14, 2010
Format: Paperback
Source: Purchased

Lena Duchannes is unlike anyone the small Southern town of Gatlin has ever seen, and she's struggling to conceal her power, and a curse that has haunted her family for generations. But even within the overgrown gardens, murky swamps and crumbling graveyards of the forgotten South, a secret cannot stay hidden forever.

Ethan Wate, who has been counting the months until he can escape from Gatlin, is haunted by dreams of a beautiful girl he has never met. When Lena moves into the town's oldest and most infamous plantation, Ethan is inexplicably drawn to her and determined to uncover the connection between them.

In a town with no surprises, one secret could change everything.

I read this book when I was in middle school and twelve year old me was kind of spooked by Beautiful Creatures. It always had me on the edge of my seat and I remember staying up all night to finish it. I enjoyed it when I was twelve, but now I'm not very interested in the series. The first book was very entertaining however, the books become very repetitive or so I'm told. When I was younger, the cover frightened me for some reason... huh.

 4.) Dorothy Must Die

Author: Danielle Paige.
Publisher:HarperCollins
Pub. Date:March 31, 2015
Format: Paperback
Source: Given to me

I didn't ask for any of this. I didn't ask to be some kind of
hero. But when your whole life gets swept up by a tornado—taking you with it—you have no choice but to go along, you know?
Sure, I've read the books. I've seen the movies. I know the song about the rainbow and the happy little blue birds. But I never expected Oz to look like this. To be a place where Good Witches can't be trusted, Wicked Witches may just be the good guys, and winged monkeys can be executed for acts of rebellion. There's still a road of yellow brick—but even that's crumbling.
What happened? Dorothy. They say she found a way to come back to Oz. They say she seized power and the power went to her head. And now no one is safe.
My name is Amy Gumm—and I'm the other girl from Kansas. I've been recruited by the Revolutionary Order of the Wicked. I've been trained to fight. And I have a mission: Remove the Tin Woodman's heart. Steal the Scarecrow's brain. Take the Lion's courage. And—Dorothy must die.

Dorothy Must Die isn't written to scare people, but I honestly got scared during the book. I go into a lot of detail for my reasons of being scared on my review of the book, but the scarecrow and Tin man are MESSED. UP. They were so creepy and twisted! Instead of singing they were killing. Instead of skipping, they were drilling. Instead of dancing, they were draining.. just ugh. no. The way Danielle imagined them in this twisted version of Wizard of Oz was so cool, but I thought I was going to have nightmares because of  these characters. I was expecting fluff not rough. Yes, this book is absolutely amazing and I plan on reading the rest of the series, but I hate the Scarecrow and Tin Man.

3.) Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Author: Ransom Riggs
Publisher: Quirk Books
Pub. Date: June 4, 2013
Format: Paperback
Source: Purchased

 A mysterious island.

An abandoned orphanage.

A strange collection of very curious photographs.

It all waits to be discovered in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, an unforgettable novel that mixes fiction and photography in a thrilling reading experience. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted island for good reason. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

A spine-tingling fantasy illustrated with haunting vintage photography, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will delight adults, teens, and anyone who relishes an adventure in the shadows.

I really enjoyed this book and I loved how there were pictures spread out within the chapters. One problem though, some of those pictures are horrifying. There were moments that I set down the book or jumped when I turned the page. In all honesty, I get scared very easily. So, when I turned the page and saw a disturbing picture, I couldn't help but throw the book or jump back. This series is written so well! I haven't gotten around to the second one, but I plan to very soon. The covers of the books are so amazing though!

2.) Nightfall

On Marin’s island, sunrise doesn’t come every twenty-four hours—it comes every twenty-eight years. Now the sun is just a sliver of light on the horizon. The weather is turning cold and the shadows are growing long.

And it may already be too late.

So, I don't exactly own this book yet, BUT I ORDERED IT. It looks so spooky and I'm so excited to read it. You can purchase this on Amazon for a great price. It looks so intriguing and the cover is absolutely beautiful. The plot just makes the book sound so suspenseful and epic. If you have read Nightfall please tell me what you thought of it!

1. Kiss

Author: Ted Dekker and Erin Healy
Publisher: Thomas Nelson
Pub. Date: November 16, 2009
Source: Borrowed

I woke up in a hospital bed missing six months of my memory. In the room was my loving boyfriend―how could I have forgotten him?―my uncle and my abusive stepmother. Everyone blames me for the tragic car accident that left me near death and my dear brother brain damaged. But what they say can't be true―can it?
I believe the medicine is doing strange things to my memory. I'm unsure who I can trust and who I should run from. And I'm starting to remember things I've never known. Things not about me. I think I'm going crazy.
And even worse, I think they want to kill me.
But who? And for what? Is dying for the truth really better than living with a lie?

Kiss is by far the most suspenseful book I have ever read. It really freaked me out. Basically every character was lying and the ending got really intense. I really like this book though. The whole time I reading, I was yearning to know what really happened and who did what! The ending was so good! It isn't the best book, but the suspense kept me wanting more the entire time. The plot was sort of odd to me though. I will admit that when I decided to read this book a few years ago, I was reading it because he cover. My heart was racing during some of the chapters. After I finished the book, I kept looking over my shoulder to make sure a certain character wasn't there. If you like creepy or suspenseful books, read Kiss.

Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige

Publisher: HarperCollins
Pub. Date: April 1, 2014
Format: Paperback ( March 31, 2015)

You can purchase this book at:
Amazon or Barnes and Noble

I didn't ask for any of this. I didn't ask to be some kind of hero.

First of all, I want to apologize for not posting  yesterday like I usually do. My computer was being very stupid because electronics hate me. It's still being stupid and stubborn as I write.

So, Dorothy Must Die. I was pretty surprised by this book. It was nothing like I expected it to be! I understood that Dorothy is evil and such, but I didn't realize how dark the book was. I was expecting a fluffy book with a villian and a few bad henchmen. Everything in Oz is basically destroyed, polluted, and dead. The munchkins are in slavery and Dorothy is addicted to magic... She's seriously getting high off of it and needs more and more.

The main character, Amy Gumm, doesn't have the best life either. Her mom is a druggie, her father left her, and she has been bullied all her life at school. She has never been able to afford nice clothes and lives in a trailer. You would think that when she was sent to Oz everything would be better, but no. It's basically hell.

When Amy arrives in Oz through a tornado, a mysterious man with bright green eyes helps her, but then soon disappears. He ticks me off because he keeps appearing through the book, won't answer Amy's questions, and randomly disappears without a goodbye.

Soon, WICKED finds her. WICKED is a group of wicked witches who are working together and are attempting to destroy Dorothy. Since Amy is from the "Other Place" like Dorothy, she is asked to join and kill the evil ruler. Amy agrees and is taught magic while simultaneously falling for the handsome Warlock, Nox.

I really loved Amy's character. She's so sarcastic and I love a sarcastic protagonist. She's such a strong person after what she has gone through! Amy wasn't a whiny character and I always related to her and  felt what she felt. It was so frustrating when people wouldn't answer her questions! I wanted to understand all the mysteries like Amy, but everyone would reply, "Trust no one, Amy. Not even me.". EVERY CHARACTER SAID THAT TO HER. GAH.

The way Danielle wrote out the Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Lion was TERRIFYING. The Lions eats your fear, the Tin Man has knives for fingers and has been adding parts to himself for years, and the Scarecrow has been draining the brains of Ozians to feel smarter. He literally drains the brains then inject what he has collected into his brain... gross, okay?

The way she described these character just freaked me the heck out, but I loved it. Their characters really contributed to the fear and sadness of this book. Every time they were mentioned, my heart began to beat a little faster. I could never imagine coming face to face with them.

I really did enjoy this book and I am very excited to read the following companions! The covers are so interesting to me. The whole time I read Dorothy Must Die, I couldn't help but constantly think of my favorite musical Wicked. I kept expecting Elphaba to appear and break out into song.

What did you think of Dorothy Must Die? Are the rest of the books good? Tell me down below. The amount of support that I Bought a Book has received is so heart warming. Thank you so much! Hope you are having a wonderful day and Happy Reading!

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

Author: Rainbow Rowell
Publisher: St. Martin's Griffin
Pub. Date: February 26, 2013
Source: Purchased
You can purchase this book at:

Amazon or Barnes and Noble

Bono met his wife in high school, Park says.
So did Jerry Lee Lewis, Eleanor answers.
I'm not kidding, he says.
You should be, she says, we're 16.
What about Romeo and Juliet?
Shallow, confused, then dead.
I love you, Park says.
Wherefore art thou, Eleanor answers.
I'm not kidding, he says.
You should be.
Set over the course of one school year in 1986, this is the story of two star-crossed misfits-smart enough to know that first love almost never lasts, but brave and desperate enough to try. When Eleanor meets Park, you'll remember your own first love-and just how hard it pulled you under.

Yes, it is late and it's almost midnight which means it's almost Saturday. Still counts! It's still Fangirl Friday. This is the first time that I have actually been able to sit down at my computer today.

Requested by my "pine-conish" best friend, Rowan (who asked me to write that), I have chosen to dedicate today's Fangirl Friday to Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. I loved this book! It was so raw and emotional. The ending was a little.... eh, but I still enjoyed it.

In this story, we follow an outcast and a loner and their love story. Eleanor is new to the school and Park stays in the back of the in-crowd. When she first arrives, she is teased and invisible to Park. Well, she's not that invisible because she has a very original sense of style and vibrant red hair. Park is just a black belt and loves 80's rock. Park and Eleanor begin to connect over comic books and begin to trade them back and forth.

Besides all the cuteness and romantic stuff, Eleanor and Park really punched my feels. This book is not a gushy love story. It discusses dark subjects that I usually don't see in normal love stories! Eleanor is bullied, basically raises her siblings, and is harassed by her step-father. Her mother is abused and her family lives in fear. I actually really appreciated the story-line because it teaches that people who are outcasts can have a "happily ever after" as well.

I was really impressed with how this love story is different. Usually, the beautiful blonde with dazzling eyes gets the sexy and picture perfect hunk. Well, Park is a frail kid and Eleanor is an unusually dressed girl on the larger side. I also appreciated how the couple was so diverse. Instead of a tan macho man and a fit brunette, we are introduced to a crazy-red haired girl and a frail young man with Asian heritage. You never see that in a typically YA love story!

Park was my favorite character. He was there to stand up for Eleanor whenever she was bullied by her step-father and the school. He went all freaking Karate Kid on his best friend just to make a point about her. It just warmed my heart because Park was so intimidated by Eleanor then soon realized her true beauty. *applause for Rainbow Rowell*

The way their love story evolved was so different and I LOVED IT. The ending did frustrate me though. It wasn't a "they lived happily ever after..." sort of book. It really left you hanging. NOT in a cliff-hanger way, but in a way that didn't give closure to a stand-alone. Over-all it was amazing.

What do you think of Eleanor and Park? Do you like Rainbow Rowell as well? Tell me down below! Hope you are all having a lovely fall and Happy Reading!

5 Book That Made Me Cry

Hello, Book Lovelies! Everyone has that one book that makes you cry every time you read. Even if you have read said book multiple times and  know where the emotional part is, you still cry. For some of us it may be the book ending or a character getting ripped out of your loving arms and dying a tragic death. (Yeah, I'm talking to you John Green and Veronica Roth.) I hope you are all enjoying the leaves changing and pumpkin flavored foods! (Hopefully I'm not the only one who cried while reading these books.)

5.) The Darkest Minds

 Author: Alexandra Bracken
Publisher: Disney-Hyperion
Pub. Date: October 22, 2013
Format: Hardcover
Source: Purchased; Amazon

When Ruby woke up on her tenth birthday, something about her had changed. Something alarming enough to make her parents lock her in the garage and call the police. Something that gets her sent to Thurmond, a brutal government "rehabilitation camp." She might have survived the mysterious disease that's killed most of America's children, but she and the others have emerged with something far worse: frightening abilities they cannot control.

Now sixteen, Ruby is one of the dangerous ones.

When the truth comes out, Ruby barely escapes Thurmond with her life. Now she's on the run, desperate to find the one safe haven left for kids like her-East River. She joins a group of kids who escaped their own camp. Liam, their brave leader, is falling hard for Ruby. But no matter how much she aches for him, Ruby can't risk getting close. Not after what happened to her parents.

When they arrive at East River, nothing is as it seems, least of all its mysterious leader. But there are other forces at work, people who will stop at nothing to use Ruby in their fight against the government. Ruby will be faced with a terrible choice, one that may mean giving up her only chance at a life worth living.

Alrighty, I know this is a very epic and action-packed book, but the reason I cried was because of the stupid ending. Ruby has to say goodbye to a certain character which made me feel lost. This was one of the first dystopian novels I read, so I was new to the whole "Yeah! They're in love, BUT IT WON'T HAPPEN AHAHA" thing. This book is absolutely amazing though.

4.) Prodigy

Author: Marie Lu
Publisher: Speak
Pub. Date: April 8, 2014
Format: Harcover
Source: Purchased; Amazon

June and Day arrive in Vegas just as the unthinkable happens: the Elector Primo dies, and his son Anden takes his place. With the Republic edging closer to chaos, the two join a group of Patriot rebels eager to help Day rescue his brother and offer passage to the Colonies. They have only one request—June and Day must assassinate the new Elector. It’s their chance to change the nation, to give voice to a people silenced for too long.
But as June realizes this Elector is nothing like his father, she’s haunted by the choice ahead. What if Anden is a new beginning? What if revolution must be more than loss and vengeance, anger and blood—what if the Patriots are wrong?

I was so engrossed in this series that the end of Prodigy hit me like a semi-truck full of bowling balls. I was so sad that I laid on the couch and cried. Why can't couples just be happy together? INSTEAD THEY'RE SICK OR THEY LEAVE... OR TRAGICALLY DIE. GAH. See, this is why I don't wanna read Champion cuz I am honestly very concerned for my feels bubble. Day and June are one of OTP'S, but I'm scared that they won't end up together. I CAN'T HANDLE THAT. MEH.

3.) The Mazerunner

Remember. Survive. Run.

Now, I knew about the death at the end of this book. I saw it all over Tumblr and all the movie advertisements, so I thought it wasn't that big of deal. Yeah.. Okay. It was obviously a HUGE deal, because my heart was shattered into a million pieces. (Yeah, this might contain spoilers)Like... WHY!? WHY KILL THIS CERTAIN CHARACTER. EH. THOMAS MADE A PROMISE AND NOW LIKE... MEH! The way the death happened was so upsetting. So, yeah. I cried then eventually threw the book at the wall and sprawled out on the floor... I was very sad, okay?

2.) Where the Red Fern Grows

Author: Wilson Rawls
Publisher: Yearling
Pub. Date: September 1, 1996
 Format: Paperback
Source: Purchase; scholastic catalog

Billy has long dreamt of owning not one, but two, dogs. So when he’s finally able to save up enough money for two pups to call his own—Old Dan and Little Ann—he’s ecstatic. It doesn’t matter that times are tough; together they’ll roam the hills of the Ozarks.
Soon Billy and his hounds become the finest hunting team in the valley. Stories of their great achievements spread throughout the region, and the combination of Old Dan’s brawn, Little Ann’s brains, and Billy’s sheer will seems unbeatable. But tragedy awaits these determined hunters—now friends—and Billy learns that hope can grow out of despair, and that the seeds of the future can come from the scars of the past.

Where the Red Fern Grows is such an amazing classic. I absolutely loved this book when I was little. I loved all the happiness and cuteness with the dogs... Ah everything was so happy TILL THEY HAD TO KILL THE FRIGGIN DOGS THAT READER FALLS IN LOVE WITH. I hate animals being hurt. The fact of shooting a horse once it breaks it's leg haunts me. I hate it. It was all happy then eventually you begin to see that the dogs are sick and they need to be put down. So, he has to shoot his own dogs. Okay, that sucked. That drove a stake through my heart.

1.) The Fault in Our Stars

Author: John Green
Publisher: Penguin Books
Pub. Date: April 8, 2014
Format: Paperback & Hardcover
Source: purchased and given to me.

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.

Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

I bet everyone was waiting for me to mention this book. It is that one book that makes me cry over and over... and over... and over again. If you did not cry while you read this book I don't even think you're human. No one told me the ending or that it was going to be a sad book... why... just... why... I was sitting there like, "Oh... happy! AAAWW CUTE! I LOVE THIS-wait.... oh... wait... no..." I am not kidding, I cried for about forty five minutes and it was not pretty. I was a complete mess while tears and snot ran down my face. I didn't have a tissue so I flopped onto my pillow and continued to cry, scaring my cat in the process. I love this book! It's so beautiful and well written, BUT COME ON JOHN. MAN, WHY.

That's my list of books that made me cry. Gah... don't you just love sad books? For me, when a book makes me cry, I become more attached to it. I remember that book more clearly. What books have made you cry? Hope you all enjoyed this post and Happy Reading!
